Born of one man’s need to remodel and one woman’s penchant for budgeting, this cherished rental was born after about nine months of waiting (read: countless showings and consistent bidding wars). We love her and hope you do too.

P.S. Now don’t go calling my baby ugly… 😉
A cute exterior and we’re thinking an actual porch might classy-up the place a bit.
This hot mess of a closet won’t stay long. It is ruining the entry, quite frankly.
To the left of the entry lies the living room and a smaller dining room (beautiful carpet, no?)
The kitchen is actually quite large. First on the agenda is uncovering the brick chimney and opening the wall hiding the stairs and entryway.
The downstairs bath is off the kitchen. She’s small but we are going to make space count in here.
The downstairs bedroom has high ceilings, a closet and two big windows. That’s a win in my book. The end.
We have big plans for the upstairs bathroom, starting with stealing space from the oversized upstairs bedroom.
Said stolen space is coming from this bedroom. Pictures can lie, but this bedroom is larger than our master bedroom at home.
Smaller upstairs bedroom: That door has a story to tell, I’ll bet.
This stucco garage is so cute. The grimy paint is not, however. Functionally, it has a dirt floor (all the better to bury bodies in…?), so we have some work ahead of us.
